About this Episode

In this episode, Caitlin and Lexie sit down with Humberto Carolo, CEO of White Ribbon, to discuss the important role men and boys play in advancing gender equity and preventing gender-based violence. Together, they explore healthy masculinity, consent, respect, men's mental health, and how parents, educators, coaches, and other trusted adults can help shape healthier conversations and relationships from an early age.

The conversation also looks at some of White Ribbon's recent initiatives, including the Boys Don't Cry campaign, which challenges rigid gender stereotypes and encourages healthier expressions of masculinity, My Friend, Max Hate, which examines the online radicalization of boys and young men, and Algorithm Sickness, a campaign exploring how social media algorithms can amplify misogynistic and harmful content online. Together, these campaigns highlight the importance of prevention, allyship, and creating healthier communities both online and offline.
